I recently had the pleasure of discovering a great site on the internet. It’s called tokyoplastic.com
Urban Vinyl, Designer Toys and Culture. Designer toys? What’s that? - you ask. They are limited edition collectable “art” toys from today’s cutting edge artists and designers. Those are the artists that make tokyoplastic what it is.
An online shop is located at myplasticheart.com and they actually have a gallery store in the Lower East Side NYC. and as it seems, it is a cool workshop of people who are a lot into music, they are VERY creative and they are surely worth the mentioning… They actually have a very big success as their creations/adverts too, once all the products ever made from the site’s “heroes” are of now out of stock… In the workshop you will find advertisments made by Tokyoplastic for big names like MTV, MSN, Mitsubishi and others and the work they’ve done shows the amount of quality they have…

I just had the chance to see the movie… Let me tell you, M. Night Shyamalan was and surely will be one of the directors I really appreciate. He had very very bad critics saying that he wasn’t good enough (probably because they couldn’t understand how brilliant he was) but he showed everybody wrong with this latest movie of his… You’ll say it’s a pure fairytale that he gave life to, but it’s more than that! It’s a bed-time story so elegantly put into our time and place, that it doesn’t feel strange at all.
